8:15-9:30am

Join us for this morning beginner level yoga class, aimed at guiding you to move your body in line with your breath. This gentle class will help you to develop internal awareness through a combination of Hatha and Ashtanga yoga.

Martin tailors the rhythm and pace of each yoga class based on his attendees, moving with everyone’s needs and abilities.

Sound therapy: Martin is qualified in this discipline and uses tuning forks to incorporate an aspect of sound healing into each of the classes.

This then leads to a period of meditation to close the session, where you can enjoy the stillness, before leaving with a sense of well-being, ready to start your day.

Martin is a qualified Hatha and Ashtanga teacher, RYT 200 hours, and has been practising many styles of yoga over the last 10 years. His teaching is inspired by Patanjali and he follows a philosophy of peaceful and sustainable living.

The cost of this class is £15, or you may use a 6 class pass costing £78.

3:45pm – 430pm – 6-9 years, 4:30-5:30pm – 10-12 years

Yoga means to unite: to integrate the mind and body.  This mindful practice is a lifelong learning experience; a form of exercise and a safe place to trust and express yourself non-verbally.  It is important for our children to learn about boundaries, discover tools to cope with difficult emotions and find a balance between independence and community.

Yoga is a non-competitive sport suitable for every body, it is not a religious practice but a way to connect with ourselves, make new friends and find gratitude outside of the classroom.

Having practiced yoga for over a decade, Kitty wanted to share the life-enriching benefits
of yoga with children. Each week, the children focus on a different theme. Her lessons involve interactive games, partner poses, yoga poses, sun salutations, breathing techniques, meditation and mindfulness practices (including props and singing bowl) to empower and creatively stimulate the children; teaching them to cherish and respect their own bodies. Listening to our bodies, our teachers and our friends is a golden rule in the yoga space.

Kitty Connor is a fully qualified yoga teacher, with a 95-hour advanced teacher training, accredited by Yoga Alliance International. Kitty has travelled to practice yoga and meet gurus throughout India, Bali and South America. With a background in drama and theatre, Kitty creates a playful space for self-expression and connection, perfect for those in the middle stages of childhood.
