This 60 minute beginners class is for anyone interested in increasing suppleness, strength and stamina, improving posture and concentration and quietening the mind.
The Iyengar yoga method emphasises precision and alignment enabling you to move with ease in your body with the correct actions, keeping you safe in the postures. Yoga props such as blankets, belts and blocks are often used to allow everyone to do the poses regardless of their limitations.
Classes are led by Jo Clayton a certified Iyengar yoga teacher. Her approach is enthusiastic and supportive, giving clear instruction and personal adjustments where needed.
The cost of this class is £14 to drop in, where space is available, or 6 classes for £72.
