How does the clinic work?

 The clinic is open on Thursday mornings from 8am -9:30am. Call Miranda on 07967 36 07 28 to ensure a space, then drop in to our clinic at The Yard. (If we are full we will call you to let you know).  Sign up on the clipboard and have a seat.  The consultation involves questions about your ailment, looking for the distinctive physical and emotional symptoms that you are experiencing. Using this holistic approach, we then give you an individualized remedy to take, with instructions. We like to follow up our consultation with a phone call to ensure you are on the path to wellness.

 Should you need further treatment, or your condition is chronic, we can recommend a treatment plan with your individualized constitutional remedy.

britt pilatesPilates – last class 20 July, resumes 7 Sept.  Summer Pilates class is at 10am each Wednesday morning.

Pilates is a mind and body method with a wide range of benefits. It improves mental and physical well-being. Pilates targets the deep postural muscles, building strength from the inside out, rebalancing the body and bringing it into correct alignment- Making you stronger and happier.

Little Beep Beeps Music classes are specifically tailored to your child’s age group and are perfect for meeting and making new friends.  Simple songs and chants in a fun environment; important elements of children’s speech development.  Introducing rhythms, pulse and communication in each class.

baby yoga smalMother & Baby Yoga ~ no class on 27th July, 17th and 24th August

Mother and Baby is a great way to practise yoga with your baby, in a friendly and supportive environment. The focus is to encourage post natal recovery, by stabilising the pelvis, strengthening core muscles and releasing tension from the body. This helps to raise energy levels and increase a sense of ease within the body. All of this is done whilst engaging your baby with songs and movements, providing an excellent opportunity to bond and spend time with your baby and meet other parents and carers to share the experiences of caring for a new baby.

No experience is required and all are welcome. Babies start at approx 6 weeks + and continue until they start to crawl.

Katie Myers is an experienced Pregnancy, Post Natal & Children’s Yoga teacher.  She has studied pre-natal yoga with Birthlight & Children’s Yoga with the Special Yoga Centre.

Classes cost £12 to drop in where spaces are available or 6 classes for £60. Booking is advisable for this class.

Incorporating both traditional ballet music & popular children’s songs, these classes will develop your child’s musicality, imagination, co-ordination & love of performance.

Basic ballet technique is taught along with the use of props:  pompoms, fairy wands, ribbons, tambourines, scarves & feathers! A colourful, inspiring setting for your little ones to share their love of dance & start to explore the magic of ballet. Classes are for both girls and boys to enjoy!

Miss Julie trained professionally at Middlesex University, gaining a first class degree in Dance Performance. She teaches ballet, tap & jazz in a number of London dance schools, including Margaret Dance Academy & is experienced in co-ordinating children’s parties. She also performs all around the UK with her all singing, all dancing act, My Favourite Things.

Lucy is passionate about the power of Kundalini yoga and wants to help others achieve mind, body and spirit balance so they can become fit both mentally and physically. In our increasingly hectic lives we are becoming more aware of the benefits of meditation and giving ourselves time to be present. Kundalini is a complete science that works with breath, yoga postures, mantra and meditation to move the energy through the body.

Each class is different but will incorporate breath work, yoga and meditation. We all have the capacity to let go of our ego and to “just be”.
