Psychotherapy, Counselling & Coaching

Psychotherapy, Counselling & Coaching

Whatever life challenge you are currently facing – relationship issues, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, historic trauma or abuse – you can be helped by psychotherapy and counselling.

Whether you have a life issue, or an issue with your life, the process can help you make sense of what you are going through and give you a greater ability to deal with it. Over time you will become more insightful about who you are, more in touch with your true feelings and more resilient in facing your responsibilities and challenges.

Integrative interpersonal psychotherapy enables an exploration of your mental, physical, social and cultural experiences. An integrative psychotherapy model utilises different methods – psychodynamic, existential, humanistic and analytical – and this allows each course of therapy to be uniquely tailored to an individual client. Work can be both focused and empowering, and also explorative and intuitive.

Anna Gray

Counselling can help provide the space needed to sort through thoughts and feelings when feeling lost, stuck or overwhelmed. At times in life we can all experience issues in relationships loss and bereavements, difficult decisions, old emotional pain, or general feelings of depression and anxiety. Talking to a counsellor can help you develop clarity, find your own answers, and grow in confidence and self-awareness.

Person-centred counselling is an approach that puts an empathic, compassionate and non-judgemental connection between counsellor and client at the heart of the therapeutic experience. It aims to create a space in which you can explore your feelings and experiences, and develop greater acceptance and trust in your self. The counsellor respects that you are your own expert, and strives to see the world from your point of view, staying alongside you as you explore how you feel.

Anna Gray is a fully qualified person-centred counsellor, who works with adults across a variety of settings in addition to her private practice. She has several years experience in the fields of bereavement and domestic abuse. As well as working with general anxiety and depression, she has a special interest in working with loss, life changes, self-esteem issues, and parenting.

Anna is a registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapy), and abides by their ethical code.
