Osteopaths diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions working with the structure and function of the body. They aim to restore balance through manipulation of joints, soft tissue massage and gentle thrust techniques which improve the vitality and circulation within the body. Osteopaths also provide postural advice and can prescribe exercises and stretching to prevent problems re occurring, helping patients take control of their own health.
Nerys graduated from The British College of Osteopathic Medicine. She has extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology and nutrition. Her work aims to find and treat the root cause of presenting issues in order to support a patients self-healing ability. Her approach is tailored to each individual’s needs, using therapeutic massage as well as structural Osteopathic techniques to help patients overcome a number of issues.
Nerys understands the demands of working and looks at how we can adopt better physical and emotional balances in our lives. She also has extensive knowledge in paediatrics from birth to adolescence, as well as maternal health, where she works to alleviate the stresses and strains that can occur with pregnancy.
