‘Spring Zinger’ by Juliet Morcas

This is my new favourite juice!

– I think I’m going to call it ‘Spring Zinger’…

Ingredients: serves 2

4 pears

1 large bulb of fennel

1 large chunk of ginger

This juice is full of nutrients and is also very cleansing.

It has high levels of Vitamin C, a potent antioxidant from the pears and the fennel.

The fresh ginger contains something called gingerol, which possesses anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties and aids in healthy cellular activity in the gastrointestinal tract.

Fennel and pears are a great source of fibre and also help maintain healthy levels of cholesterol in the blood stream. This means that it can stimulate the elimination damaging LDL cholesterol, which is a major factor in heart disease, atherosclerosis, and strokes.

All the ingredients are full of healthy enzymes and together they aid in stimulating proper digestion.

And… as well as all these healthy benefits, it actually tastes great!
